Job Description

Job Title:          Warehouse Coordinator

Department:     CTX Admin

Reports To:      Operations Manager

Summary:  Handles all aspects of inventory, warehouse, and works directly with Operations Manager to support Sales, Integration, & Service Departments

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Complete ETA of equipment, materials, & serialization, and send status to Project Manager & Operations Manager daily
  • Keep Inventory Warehouse & Cable Cage organized, secured, stocked, accurate, and clean
  • Follow Procedures to have equipment and inventory signed out before leaving the warehouse
  • Preforms inventory counts and runs reports of stock status & availability
  • Complete Receipt of Goods, Bin Transfers, Picks, Change Orders, Returns, RMA’s accurately and in a timely manner
  • Understands and follows through with preservation & care of all items received, stored, and shipped, methods of use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock and supplies
  • Coordinate with Project Managers when product & equipment will need to be released to our Integrators and have it prepared for loading
  • Provide basic maintenance of building. (Replace light bulbs, order supplies, boxes, help take out trash, etc.)
  • Create Project Folders & Sign Offs for our Integration Projects
  • Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with staff and our customers via phone, email, and face to face
  • Have the initiative to contact manufactures, freight carriers, and our Purchasing Department to find status on missing equipment and supplies
  • Organize, track, label, and stage equipment & supplies needed for Integration Projects
  • Be able to assist in providing small quotes to customers
  • Meet deadlines set out and ask for help before deadline arrives if need be
  • Take initiative to find out answers to potential problems items and complete tasks without being told
  • Input integrators timesheets weekly into Time clock Manager Software
  • Understands the necessity to be respectful, helpful, and prompt when asked to do something or in communication. Give details
  • Supporting the Integration Department by making sure all inventory and timesheet concerns are completed before the project is set to bill
  • Has a strong passion to do things correctly the first time
  • Be familiar with using a pallet jack and handling pallet shipments and break downs.
  • Be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Follows procedures & works with our Purchasing Department to have returned product & equipment sent back to the manufacture or our Houston warehouse
  • Works with staff, customers, & our Service Department to have defective equipment serviced and/or replaced
  • Has a strong ability to neatly consolidate inventory and accurately count/maintain inventory records
  • Is fluent in using Word, Excel, and Outlook; composing professional emails

Education and/or Experience                                                

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills                                             

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills                                                   

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability                                                      

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills                                             

Microsoft Office suite of programs to include Outlook, Outlook Calendar Word, and Excel
