Job Title: Installer
Department: Integration
Reports To: VP of Operations/Project Managers
FLSA Status: Non Exempt
Summary Installs, terminates, tests, and troubleshoots audio video systems by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist other installers as directed to complete jobs on schedule
- Follow all safety procedures
- Pull and terminate cable
- Assemble parts and equipment according to manufacturer specifications
- Work effectively as a team player
- Timely completion of paperwork
- Maintain control of all company property and ensures that equipment is maintained in safe operating condition at all times
- Assist with inventory control
- Clean and organize work area in order to maintain a safe and productive work space
- Uses testing equipment to troubleshoot problems
- Reads technical manuals and brochures to determine equipment which meets establishment requirements.
- Performs preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs as directed
- Works with various manufacturers to troubleshoot on-site and resolve unforeseen issues/problems with hardware and firmware.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years of related experience and/or extensive training; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
CTS Certification a plus.
Physical Demands
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
