Project Manager:

 

Coordinates logistics on all installations, including delivery of products and materials in a timely fashion and interfacing with employees, customers, and other trades and subcontractors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Reviewing project documentation to determine installation time, staffing requirements and safety requirements
Interfacing with customers on job scheduling, scope of work, etc
Attending meetings and communicating with external and internal customers.
Reviewing installations with sales staff and installation technicians
Verifying accuracy of drawings, installation forms, and other paperwork with designers
Daily communication with sales staff regarding status of installations projects
Working with warehouse staff to ensure all products and materials are staged and ready for installation
Troubleshooting and commissioning of complex AV and control systems
Coordination of efforts to complete punch lists
Coordination with subcontractors to ensure quality and timeliness of work
Maintain safety and health performance of staff
Develop a safety culture, and create a positive team environment

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises 6 to 7 employees in the Integration department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Strong management experience overseeing projects and staff
7+ years Audio/Visual installation; commercial experience preferred
Prior experience installing LCD/DLP Projectors, Plasma/LCD Monitors, commercial audio equipment, Video/Audio Teleconferencing Equipment.
Experience with AMX, Crestron, and Extron control systems including uploading and troubleshooting code. Programming experience is a plus.
Experience in System Design is a plus.
Strong worth ethic, professional attitude and outstanding communication skills.
Strong project management skills and experience may be substituted for Audio Visual background requirements.

Education and/or Experience

Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent; or seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
